Turtle Trail is located in the 300 block of West William Street (map)

The Turtle Trail garden is just west of the Masonic Temple parking lot. Staff and clients of the Oasis Day Center maintained the garden in 2009 and 2010. Now the garden supervisor is Kate Shields, director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries at First United Methodist Church, with assistance by Dorothy Miller. Use of the land is provided by owners Joan Lewis and Terry Baylis. The Turtle Trail garden is small but it has lots of variety, with herbs, Indian greens, tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, squash and sunflowers growing in 2011.
